David Anderson has been developing software since 1975 on a variety of platforms
and languages and holds a degree in Computer Science from the University of Canterbury.
As a Lecturer in Applied Computing for over 7 years he was responsible for course
development and instruction from the introductory to the Masters level. Other teaching
responsibilities included Software Development and Design, Object Oriented Systems,
Simulations and Expert Systems. He was a software consultant and trainer for several
Fortune 500 companies in the areas of object-oriented architecture, design and development
for client-server systems and object oriented databases. Since 1985 David has focused
much of his attention on Smalltalk development. As President of the Genify Corporation,
David develops and supports the Smalltalk MT product, a Windows based Smalltalk compiler,
and has been assisting game companies in using this tool for DirectX development. Using
this tool David also designed and developed 3D-graphics programs for the construction
industry, CAD tools and international CASE tools.
