Workshop III: Special Effects Programming (Coming Soon!)Now it is time to introduce the bells and whistles of the modern game engine. In this workshop you will examine various uses of image based rendering and polygonal billboards. We will get a chance to look at lens flares, light bloom, muzzle flash, laser fire, particle systems, heads up displays, water and glass effects, fire and explosions, and so much more. Basically, this is the eye candy workshop and should prove to be a lot of fun.
